If you have recently obtained a loan protection insurance quote then you will probably have considered the possibility of taking it out. You will no doubt have looked into what it can do for you and then decided that the peace of mind is actually worth it. As a result, you may well be looking to take the next step and take it out. Depending on the provider of course, there are several ways for you to take out a loan protection quote. The following will help you to decide the best way to do it.
If you have chosen to get a loan protection insurance quote from a high street bank or lender and want to take that policy out then there are two ways in which you can actually achieve that. The first is face to face in a ranch and the second is via the Internet as part of an application for a loan. Many banks, building societies and lenders will not open accounts or set up anything over the phone but they do prefer you to go into a branch to do business, largely because they see it as a sales opportunity. However, you can often apply for different products over the Internet as well, but your quote may be slightly different if you have previously obtained it from a branch. If you do go into a branch, you should expect to be there around an hour. If you do it over the Internet then you can complete the process in your own time.
However, it is often easier to set up a policy as the result of a loan protection insurance quote from an independent standalone policy provider. You can choose to set up cover over the phone or via the Internet. The process is much simpler than in a bank (this is the general rule but there may be some exceptions). You can phone them if you have any questions about your loan protection insurance quote and they can answer them for you and set the policy up there and then if you like. Alternatively, again, if you prefer to do it in your own time then you can again quote yourself online and then fill in the application at a later date. As these companies rarely offer anything other than payment protection, they will rarely try to sell you anything else so all you have to do now is choose how to set it up!
